Juvenile Detention Hearings
$1500: Initial Detention Hearing. Attorney Hourly Rate: $500/hr Includes Appeal to Circuit Court, if Necessary. No Appeals to Court of Appeals or Supreme Court.
Adult Misdemeanors
$2000 for Each Charge
Plus $500 in Costs to Start:
Attorney Hourly Rate: $500/hr
Includes trial in general district court. Does NOT include appeal to Circuit Court. Fee does not include jury trial, additional fee for jury trial. I do not do appeals to the Court of Appeals or the Supreme Court, however, I will make a clean record for purposes of appeal to the Court of Appeals and/or the Supreme Court.
Adult Bond Hearings
$1500: Initial Bond Hearing. Attorney Hourly Rate: $500/hr Includes Appeal to Circuit Court, if Necessary. No Appeals to Court of Appeals or Supreme Court.
Juvenile Felony Charges
$2500 for Each Charge
Plus $500 in Costs to Start
Attorney Hourly Rate: $500/hr
(Court Reporter, Witness Subpoenas). Includes trial in juvenile court. Does NOT include appeal to Circuit Court. Additional Fee for Jury Trial. I do not do appeals to the Court of Appeals or the Supreme Court, however, I will make a clean record for purposes of appeal to the Court of Appeals and/or the Supreme Court.

$2000 for Each Charge

$3000 for Each Felony Charge, Plus $500 in Costs to Start
Attorney Hourly Rate: $500/hr
(Court Reporter, Witness Subpoenas). Includes Transfer/Certification Hearing in Juvenile Court and Trial in Circuit Court. Additional Fee for Jury Trial. I do not do appeals to the Court of Appeals or the Supreme Court, however, I will make a clean record for purposes of appeal to the Court of Appeals and/or the Supreme Court.

Adult & Juvenile Probation Violations for Underlying Misdemeanor Offenses
$1500 for Adult & Juvenile Probation Violations in General District Court or Juvenile Court. Does NOT Include Appeal to Circuit Court.

$5,000 for Each Charge
(Class 3, 4 & U Felonies),
plus $500 in Costs to Start.

Does not include murder cases. Additional Fee for Jury Trial. I do not do appeals to the Court of Appeals or the Supreme Court, however, I will make a clean record for purposes of appeal to the Court of Appeals and/or the Supreme Court.

$2000: Adult Probation Violations in Circuit Court.
Attorney Hourly Rate: $500/hr.

$1000: Do-It-Yourself (DIY) Consultations.
Attorney Hourly Rate: $500/hr
Extensive consultations specific to your situation in order to prepare you to represent yourself in court. There is no time limit for these consultations as each case is different. However, please allow 2 hours minimum for this consultation.
